I have been to pastis for brunch and it was very nice;also,had drinks outside one early evening,waiting for busride home. Been to Balthazar only one time for brunch. we had fun,good food at both places.. we're in our early 50's;there was a young adult-30something crowd both places-everyone very animated,fun,bustling atmosphere.
