Kim Seybert started off designing beautiful dresses and beaded evening gowns, but was always drawn to dinnerware. Wanting to bring the same artisanal workmanship of those hand-beaded gowns to her home, she got to work designing everything from pillows to placemats for her apartment, launching her eponymous label in 1998.
