Dec 1, 2016 · 1999 Prairie 300 Starter Removal Problem. I am trying to remove the starter. I read the manual and got all the way to removing the starter mounting screws. The bottom one is the problem. The air tube for the transmission is in the way, There is nothing in the manual referring to this. Carb overflow 1997 Prairie 400. After the bleeding, I can go from 5 to 20 miles w/o a problem.
